What Colours are available?
The most popular colour is black. Prelasti can be supplied in grey but is subject to volume orders.
Does the Prelasti product carry a Guarantee?
Prelasti is covered by a 20 year Guarantee and has a proven Life Expectancy of in excess of 50 years.
Is Prelasti expensive in comparison to alternative products?
No, Prelasti despite its many technical advantages compares favourably with other roofing products and because of its Whole Life Cost is less expensive in the long term.
How do installation times compare with other products?
Because Prelasti is prefabricated to fit the roof it arrives on site ready to install which results in reduced labour cost, faster installation and a reduction in Health & Safety issues.
Why have I not heard about the product before? Is it new?
Prelasti EPDM was first developed by Pirelli over 30 years ago. In order to protect the brand and quality associated with Prelasti only fully trained Approved contractors are allowed to carry out installations.

No, as the roof is prefabricated these items are accommodated at the time of manufacture into the main sheet.
Is Prelasti Environmentally friendly?
The product is completely natural and contains no Plasticisers or PVC’s and uses less energy in the manufacturing process than bitumen based products.
In the event of Mechanical damage to the membrane can repairs be affected?
One of the unique benefits of Prelasti is the ability to patch repair as with a bicycle tyre. The characteristics of the product (UV stability) means that even after years of being exposed to the elements the product does not degrade or become brittle.
